Vera Hadzic (she/her) is a writer from Ottawa, Ontario. Her prose and poetry have appeared in flo., Hexagon Magazine, Bywords.ca, Okay Donkey, Kissing Dynamite, Crow & Cross Keys, and elsewhere. She has received nominations for the Pushcart Prize and for Best of the Net. She has also been featured in Sun Cows of the Petrichor, an anthology of new experimental fiction, and her first chapbook, Fossils You Can Swallow, is from Proper Tales Press. She is studying English and history at the University of Ottawa.
